About the Band

Fantompass is an emergening progressive rock band from Concepción, Chile, founded in 2022 by keyboardist Elard Simón Koch, drummer Pablo Patricio Escobar, and bassist Elard Martín Koch. Today, the group has grown into a nine-piece ensemble featuring vocals, flute, saxophone, guitar, narration, and handpans.

Their music blends classic prog influences (Genesis, Renaissance) with jazz fusion, Celtic, and elements of minimalism. Known for their conceptual approach, theatrical staging, and complex rhythmic structures, Fantompass has recently released the singles Dark Night, Gates of Glory, and the extended play HUMBLE: A Prog-Rock Fable, that includes an animated storyboard by the young artist Alex Gonzalez from  University of L’Idem animation School in Barcelona.
